Timothy Evans, grew up in Frankfort Michigan, but has lived in Traverse City for most of his adult life. Evans attended Michigan State University and graduated with a B.S. in Biology. Soon after school, Timothy joined the US Navy, where he served as Flight Training Officer and Lieutenant for seven years. Evans’ duties in the Navy included primary and intermediate flight training for the United States Navy, Marines, Coast Guard and Allied Nation students in the T-34C Turbo Mentor aircraft. During his time in the Navy, Timothy was responsible for training students in various subjects such as aircraft systems, operating procedures, handling emergencies, problem analysis, aircraft navigation, radio operation and aerodynamics. As Flight Training Officer, he determined student proficiency and reported on their progress.
After leaving the Navy, Timothy Evans started his career in sales and marketing with Glaxo Corp. and Pharmacia Corp. Here, as a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist, Evans worked as their Regional Trainer. He facilitated training workshops at corporate headquarters in addition to executing area meetings. Timothy was quickly recommended for a promotion after exceeding expectations for company goals.
